Abstract:
This research concern analysis of the syllabus of French language
(Campus 1) which is used in teaching the French as a foreigner
language at the department of French at faculty of education,
University of Elgazira.
This analysis was based on my notice that the standard of
students of the first group in French division is unsatisfied with
compare of the size of contents of used programme since these
contents of curriculum can’t be carried out in hours confirmed in
crowded teaching halls which need more lectures and more
qualified teachers, also for the cultural and social distance in the
texts done concerned (Campus 1).
This research aim to analyze the used syllabus in teaching the
basic of French as foreigner language at faculty of education,
Gazeera University supported with dialogue done with teachers of
division to take up their views and suggestion to improve studies
levels and to enhance to language teaching in all division of
language knowledge.
The research depended on scientific and systematic way in
analysing the curriculum in the same way that done by the
language researcher (Evelyne Berard).
