Abstract:
By the end of the second millennium and the beginning of the third, the digital revaluation has played an effective role in the scientific and technological development in various fields. It also had a clear impact on Art and Architecture, where new forms have emerged in addition to the digital architecture. New trends in the field of architecture, urban design and landscape design have appeared, their philosophy depend on the effective role of digital in creation and design, and those trends don’t depend on the computer as a drafting tool but as tool for creativity and design. In the light of such variables, it was essential for those in the teaching field of architecture to cope with all that so as to be able to prepare graduates who can face future challenges with all its trends and architectural theories under the umbrella of digitalization as a main future base.
Hence, the thesis includes a study of the development of contemporary architecture and the new architecture trends in the light of digitalization and the analysis of those trends and theories including the direct and indirect impact of the digital revolution on the design and the execution of architecture works. On the other hand, theses investigate a number of educational syllabuses in different universities around the world and in the Arab region including the role of digitalization in the education process and its impact on architecture design and creativity. The last chapter of the thesis presents the syllabus of the department of architecture in Sudan University as a case study, and the role of digitalization in the educational process of the student’s activities. The thesis was concluded by results recommendations with all help enhance the educational process through digitalization assigning graduates in facing future challenges.
