Analyse Pragmatique du connecteur "comme" en français

Abstract

The study aims primarily to define the importance of the connectors in French language, their role and functions. These connectors have essential and fundamental role in understanding the message that the writer wants to convey to the reader. The study focused secondary on the semantic role which the thinking world comme plays in comprehending the context that the writer wants to deliver to the reader and the meanings that the linking world gives to the reader which help in understanding the intended meaning. We followed the pragmatic analysis to conduct this study which depends on identifying semantic values of the linking world comme and then to know the intension and the meaning which the context implies. Through this analytical approach we could recognize that this linking world plays a fundamental role in facilitating the process of understanding meaning of the text. Also, linking world gives the receiver ability to understand the nature of the relationship that connects the reason and what resulted from it within it's casual function. It plays an important role in arranging events in narration taking advantages of it's time function. After all, we found that the linking world comme does all these roles because of its special function in simile and comparison.
