the values and different hematological
to identify
parameters
in
diabetic pregnant women. This included hemoglobin and
their changes in relation to age variation, type of diabetes
mellitus
and duration of pregnancy. The
major purpose of
the study was to evaluate the hematological values and
riticulocyte
count
in
diabetic
pregnant
women
sample,
hematological values if any.; Such study was provided
valuable
informative
data
for
hematological
profile
of
Sudanese diab etic pregnant women sample under normal
physiological status.
fifty samples were enrolled, 25 samples were collected
in Al Shagara and Modaraat Medical
Centers from normal
pregnant women as a control and 25 samples were collected

K2EDTA containers, informative demographic data on the
type of diabetic, duration and age were written in the
questionnaire.
The study explain that , hemoglobin mean value of
Sudanese diabetic pregnant women was 11.26±1.43g/ld, a
hemotocrit mean value was 33%±7,35 MCV, MCH and MCHC
mean value were
81.8fl±2.75, 36.5 pg ±47.82 and 32-
1±1.74g/dl. The study revealed that, the mean value for red
cell count of Sudanese diabetic pregnant women
4.3X1012/L±0.32. The leukocyte
count with mean value
was
of
6.1X1012/L± 1.48 was observed.
Overall reticuocyte count in the diabetic pregnant women
showed that reticulocyte count 1.08% ±0.31. The study
showed that, there was normal reticulocyte count in diabetic
pregnant women.
The study revealed that, there was no change in hematological
parameters due to diabetes mellitus type 1 or type11 in pregnant
women
but they were
increased
significantly
in WBCs among
diabetic pregnant women type 1.the age of pregnant women was
