dc.description.abstract Sudan is one of the hottest countries in the world; because of it’s nearness to the equator, This lead to varying weather conditions; at some times during the same day, this have a negative effect on aircraft landing. Therefore, most flights had to change their destination to other air ports because of the dusty and rainy conditions, which is reflected upon the airport performance. The improvement of the automatic aircraft landing system is suggested to solve this problem. The main goal of this research is to suggesting a control system that deals with autopilot; advising it to land the aircraft safely in all conditions of the weather. In order to do this a through investigation of the existing system will be carried out and after identifying the problems we try to solve these problems. In this research the investigation and comparing methodology were used to study the system and finding the system problems, then, designing a new system satisfying the objectives through MATLAB tool box. en_US
