dc.description.abstract respectively. The effect of supplementation to chronic renal failure patients with crude gum Arabic, Fraction I and Fraction II for 6 weeks revealed that: Crude gum Arabic decreased blood urea levels by 20. %; creatinine by 29.57%; uric acid by 22.52%; total protein by 13.2%, albumin by 23.45% and increased PCV and hemoglobin by 11% and 7.4% respectively. Fraction (I) decreased blood urea level by 28% ; creatinine by 33.33% ; uric acid by 28.57% ; total protein by 0.00% ; albumin by 23.45%, increased PCV and Hemoglobin by 11% and 7.4% respectively. Fraction (II) decreased level of blood urea by 16.92%; creatinine by 14.28%; uric acid by 7.14%; total protein by 7.67%; albumin by 14.79%, increased PCV and Hemoglobin by 8.91% and 6.o85 respectively. The effect of supplementation to tuberculosis patients by crude gum Arabic, fractions (I and II) for 30 weeks resulted in ESR decreased by: 75.75%, 55.69% and 24.62% respectively. The hemoglobin was increased by 37.04%, 12.65% and 9.21% respectively. The PCV increased 46.6%, 17.14 and 36.66% respectively and the body weight increased by 35.71%, 25.92% and 10.46% respectively. Administration of gum Arabic and it's fractions to hypertension patients for 12 weeks resulted in decrease in blood pressure for high level to normal (180/120 – 110/70); (185/120 – 110/70) and 170/110 – 130/95 respectively.also blood Urea decreased by (56.58%, 21.7% and 5.6% respectively, Uric acid decreased by(46.35%, 33.89% and 23.33%) respectively, Creatinine decreased by (84%, 22.35% and 13.75% respectively,ESR decreased by (45.36%, 41.55% and 19.24%). The PCV increased by (33.3%, 33% and 26.66) respectively. The hemoglobin increased by (24.58%, 20.5% and 2.68%) respectively. The amino acid content of crude gum Arabic, Fractions (I and II) had been determined. The crude gum Arabic was found to contain Aspartic, theronine, serine, glutamic, hydroxy praline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, poline, leucine tyrocine, phenyl alanine, histadine, lysine, arginine. The main amino acid was hydroxyl proline. (20%)Fraction I had the same amino acids in as crude gum Arabic but in different proportion and hydroxy proline conistitute only 0.075%; Fraction II also had almost the same content of amino acids without presence of valine, histadine and hydroxy proline was found to be(10%). The effect of supplementation to gout patients using heat crude gum Arabic and Fractions (I and II) for 10 weeks decreased the level of uric acid (51.55%, 52.73% and 52.73% respectively. The level of urea also decreased (49.49%, 46.31% and 40.44%) respectively. Creatinine level decreased by 49.49%, 46.31% and 40.44%) respectively. ESR was decreased by (53.89%, 53.96% and 45.16%) respectively. The hemoglobin level was increased by (1.26%, 26.56% and 23.96%) respectively. The PCV increased by 5.26%, 23.94% and 20.12%) respectively. The effect of supplementation to chronic renal failure patients usig heated crude gum Arabic, Fractions (I and II) for 10 weeks resulted in decreased level of blood urea nitrogen by (30.26%, 39.8% and 21.88%) respectively ; creatinine by (42.53%, 38.93% and 16.85%) respectively, Uric acid decreased by (47.53%, 36.31% and 15.21%) respectively. Total protein by 42.8%, 8.81% and 18.68%) respectively. Albumin decreased (33.79%, 37.5% and 39.51%) respectively. The PCV increased by (33.33%, 24.19% and 10.01%) respectively. The hemoglobin increased (26.9%, 10.33 and 13.39%) respectively. Administration of crude gum Arabic(20 and 50 gm) combined with 0.5g of royal jelly to hypertensive pregnant women lowered there blood pressure to normal levels and increased there Hb level up to 22.53%,50.94%and 27.14% respectively. The effect of gum Arabic as health improver and it's natural positive medicinal effects against some diseases was investigated, and the effect of gum Arabic on patients suffering from gout, T.B., Chronic renal failure CRF) High blood pressure, and high blood pressure during pregnancy period was undertaken. Gum Arabic and its fractions were oral given to randomly selected patients. The effect of supplementation of gum Arabic and its two fractions to gout patients for 18 weeks revealed that crude gum Arabic decreased level of uric acid by 19.5%, creatinine by 8.38%, and ESR by 81.48%. Crude gum Arabic increased level of hemoglobin up to15.90%and PCV by about 4.4%. The uric acid percentage was decreased after supplementation of Fraction ( I)by 50%, urea by: 20.5% ; and creatinine by: 7.36%. The PCV and Hemoglobin were increased by 16% and 15% respectively. The effect of supplementation of fraction( II) to gout patients for 18 weeks show decrease in uric acid level by22%, urea by7.8%, creatinine by 22.22% ; ESR by 20.1%.
