Abstract

This study carried out to know the role of practical action organization in improving the social and economical conditions of rural women in Elfasher locality, also this study aimed to know to what extent the rural women had been empowered from this activities and programmes. The study covered 2 villages in the research area ,proportional random sample of 100 women were selected out of 4427 women. Social survey was used and after the data was collected using questionnaire , the collected data was analyzed with computer using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) for frequencies , percentages and chi-squire test. Important results were achieved from this study such as: 1- The study shows that 80% of respondent are head of families and they running their work in the houses and fields.
