Etude analytique sur l’importance de l’internet dans le prossus d’apprentissage du FLE chez les apprenants de l’université du Soudan des sciences et de technologie

Abstract

This study aims at knowing the significance of the internet, its usages and benefits in the learning process to the French Language learners. The internet is considered as one of the most important information resources in this current era as well as crucial part in men's day to day activities. the researchers focuses on the learning aids used in teaching their types, importance, objectives and multimedia including the internet, moreover the need to use these means in French language teaching through which learning and educating processes could be made easy and making up information database enabling the learner to interact with the learning program obtaining the knowledge at various forms and levels. The importance of the internet is highlighted in improving self-learning skills, the concept of distant learning and also practicing the language globally (listening, speaking, reading and writing). The researchers designed an oriented questionnaire targeting the French language learners – college of languages Sudan University for science and technology –grade four. Twenty students answered the questionnaire which was analyzed; also the researcher conducted eight interviews with French language teachers at universities. Following the analysis results of the questionnaire and interviews it was found out that all the students participating in the questionnaire had browsed the internet and the majority benefited using it to learn the French language but only 80% of the questionnaire participants used the internet via their cell phones. All the interviewed teachers confirmed that they use the internet as well as encourage their students to get benefits of using this resource. The researchers recommend Equipping the learning rooms with advanced devices in order to get benefit of using this multimedia including the internet. Developing and improving E-library at the universities. Encouraging French Language learners to have the best usage of the internet purposely to improve their linguistic capabilities.
