Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the barriers inhabiting use of language laboratory in teaching EFL students', a perspective of teachers, a case study, college of education, University of Dongola. The hypotheses of the paper are: there are many barriers inhibiting use of language laboratory in teaching EFL students and to find out if teachers use language laboratory in teaching English language. The questionnaire was used to collect data from participants. The Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analysis the acquired data. The result of analysis reveals that: language lab is important to improve learners' oral communcation, Education college, lack the access to language labs. The researcher recommended that department of language should specify time for language lab as well as, language lab should be established at the college of education.
