Serum was obtained by centrifugations at 3000 rpm for 5 min, Detection of C. trachomatis IgG antibodies were detected using Enzyme linked immunosorbant assay, and data analysis using spss. The result revealed that out of 90 women investigated, only one (1/90) (1.1%) was positive for C. trachomatis IgG antibodies. the majority (89/90)(98.9%) were negative.
