Abstract:
This research about development the current control system of boilers of Sennar sugar factory in combustion loop, where all the setting of dampers For IDfans (negative air) and FD fans (positive ) manually done and also operate the fuel feeding (bagasse) for boilers during operation manually done.
Process of setting for three items togethermanually it's very complicated In fact it's impossible to manually setting ID fan dampers and FD fan with amount of fuel at different boilers loads, result to that when the amount of fuel feeding more than air flow (positive air) these caused the unburnt losses and when the air flow (positive air) more than amount of fuel feeding these reduced efficiency of boilers and when the IDfans (negative air) more than required that is allow passed high temperature through thechimney all these consider losses of temperature .
The above issues can be solved by using programmable logic control PLC, whereprogrammable of control system for combustion loop to control of steam generation through control of air flow and fuel feeding and that done through the control of speed of motors by variable frequency control VFDand simatic using Siemens PLCs. According to implementationand simulation results, the control system of combustion loop by PLC consider more efficiency and control of outlet pressure
