| dc.description.abstract | The oil from Coffea Arabica was analyzed by GC-MS.The analysis showed 22 components. The major components are: Hexadecanoic acid, methyl ester (31.84%), 9,12- Octadecadienoic acid (Z,Z)-, methyl ester (%31.46), 9-Octadecanoic acid methyl ester (17.40%), Methyl stearate (10.84%), Eicosanoic acid methyl ester (5.04%). Antimicrobial activity of Coffea Arabica oil was conducted. The oil showed significant activity against Bacillus subtilis, moderate activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans. | en_US |
