dc.description.abstract In this work classical electromagnetic theory together with quantum mechanics are utilized to show new lasing mechanisms that can takes place without inversion. Both treatments show that amplification can be achieved if the effect of the internal fields and forces, including polarization field and resistive force, exceed the effect of external fields and forces. en_US
