Abstract:
This thesis aims to investigate about the effect of titanium dioxide (TiO2) on structural and surface properties of zinc oxide (ZnO) Nanorods (NRs) grown hydrothermally using the chemical approach.
X-ray used to study the surface structure of the samples, while SEM is used to study the surface morphology of a sample.
The XRD results show that ZnO NRs sample indexed to the hexagonal crystal structure, and the SEM results indicate a homogeneous ad high dense NRs. While the XRD and SEM results of ZnO/ TiO2 shows a change on the peaks and the morphology, this due the shows that TiO2 layer is totally covers ZnO NRs.
