This research deals with the assessment of the loss of printing in the company of Karri Printing and Publishing, which serves primarily the Publications of the armed forces in addition to meet some of the needs of the local market of printing.
This research focuses on the waste in the paper because it represents the highest cost of all production inputs. Therefore, 30 samples of four different products have been studied: non- colored books, semi- colored books, full color books and finally magazines.
The losses were calculated in each sample and the loss was transferred to a financial value. The study showed that the highest losses were in paper and specifically in magazines, then full color books, then semi- colored books, and finally non- color books.
