dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate EFL learners’ problems in using prepositions in grade 8. The researcher used descriptive analytical method. The data of the study was collected by the use of a test. The respondents of the study were (50) male pupils of Al-Shaheed Ibrahim Salih Al-Amin school. The data obtained was analyzed by using (SPSS) Statistical Package for Social Science. The main findings of the research revealed that grade 8 pupils have difficulties in using prepositions of time, place and movement, prepositions create some difficulties for EFL learners, and the difficulties of prepositions affect the pupils’ process in learning. The researcher recommended that English teachers should share their ideas and experience of teaching prepositions of time, place and movement in designing and teaching them. en_US
