dc.description.abstract This study aims at investigating the use of classroom interaction to develop academiawriting. the researcher has adopted a descriptive analytical method . two instrument have been used for collecting data relevant to the study . Namely questionnaire to teachers of English at some Sudanese universities and on observation to the second year students of English at SudanUniversity of science and technology, college of languages. The study sample of questionnaire compress (50) teachers whereas the observation compress (10) students. The researcher applied spss program to analyze and verify the results . the results have showed that students interaction can positively enhanced writing topic sentence . Moreover, student interaction can potentially help in identifying and supporting sentences students interaction in enhancing academic writing helps promote students performance in class actives. The study has recommended that teachers should raise student’s awareness about the importance of academic writing. Moreover, awareness about the importance of academic writing. Moreover, classroom should be conducive so as to assist students in practing academic writing. in addition , peer interaction in the classroom should be adopted among them self – confidence . Furthermore, classroom interaction should be adjusted among students to lead them better understanding. Some suggestions also proposed for further studies. en_US
