This research aims at exploring the factors that hinder the secondary school students to be qualified English language speaker in {Bahri locality}, In particular ,the study aims at investigating students cohesion and coherence problems in {EFL}communicative skill .,
The basic hypothesis adopted in this study sets out that ,teachers do not often engender positive attitude because they use old methods in teaching communicative skills .Teachers do not have a through grasp of instructional content and procedure .They do not have any experience or techniques in teaching communicative skill . Using the modern technology in communication and identification is the key feature of good techniques that affects students communication positively .
The researcher believes that promoting this vision to teaching communicative skills motivates students interest ,help them to organize their ideas ,developing their ability to speak ,to analyze , criticize and speak out their own expression ,thinking and reflecting on their English language orally.
The method of this research work is quite descriptive and analytic .That is ,it aims to describe the students communicative skill in term of factors that maximize the learners speaking quality .The data were gathered through a questionnaire administered to teachers who have been teaching English language at secondary schools . The results have shown that teachers do not use appropriate activities in teaching communicative skills and they do not use appropriate aids to enhance communication skills inside the classroom .Add to that ,modern technologies are not available at secondary schools in the area. A possible explanation for this tendency is that students have a limited time for speaking and using oral skills . And also' they are not well familiar with the features of good communicative skills .Modern activities should be provided to the high secondary schools in Bahari locality .Communicative skill should be enhanced by using suitable modern aids, and employing the modern technology accurately and properly . |
