Abstract:
analysis.
The study population is the schools in the State. A sample size of 73 basic schools and 46 secondary were taken. The data was collected using stratified random sample.
The collected data was statistically analyzed using factor analysis by SPSS. Principal component was used for extraction and varimax for rotation to analyze the correlation matrix.
The purpose of this research is to examine the underlying structure of the education in the Southern Darfur State.
After the literature review was stated and the data was analyzed the researcher discussed the results of analysis and come to some acceptable results as follows:
For basic education nine factors were extracted; which explain 74.5% of the total variance. The first factor is the examination, which consists of five observed variables; then the administration and experience consists of four observed variables; the third is academic achievement consist of five manifest variables.
At secondary education; seven factors were extracted to explain 77.7%. The first two factors are general situation and degree of classrooms congestion.
At last the researcher analyzed the whole sample to extract eight factors, which explain 71.4% of the total variance.
The research was organized in five chapters.
