Abstract:
The study aimed to investigate the impact of 5S system implementation in the Hospital and the relationship between 5S system and employees motivation.
This study was conducted in Omdurman Maternity Hospital. For the analyses of research work, the data were collected through a cross-sectional field study of the staff members from department heads, alternates and supervisors of Omdurman Maternity Hospital.
A questionnaire was distributed to (60) employees and retrieved (60), the response was 100%, which formed the study sample. The data were input into the computer and processed statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).
The results from the survey of (60) staff member from the hospital was found to be significant in term of motivation of the employees.
The study showed that 83.9% of employees are motivated and 69.42% increasing in performance in the face of limited resource.
The study revealed that the working environment improved by 86.51% and in term of using the maximum capabilities of the hospital it was 84.04.
