Abstract:
The investigation evaluated the English program for science and technology (EST) in the Faculty of Science University of Sebha, Libya (Fall 2015). The investigation had designed the research questions followed with the research hypotheses (chapter one). The investigation had classified the main variables and sub-variables to be evaluated such as EST syllabus (chapter four), EST teachers, EST students and instructors of science as well (chapter four). The research methods adopted for data collection were mixed methods consisted of qualitative and quantitative methods (questionnaires and interviews). Therefore the tools for collecting data were interviews and questionnaires. Two interviews one with teachers of EST and the second with the instructors of science as subjects. And questionnaires had been designed for students of science (1st, 2nd, and 3rd semesters). The questionnaires responses were statistically analyzed by the use of Crornabah test. After the completion of the study analyses, the study had reached some conclusions upon which some correlated recommendations had been summarized at the end of the study (chapter five). The recommendations' is complemented by hypotheses verifications in addition to some suggestions for further studies.
