Abstract:
In this dissertation, the vacuum stability in Extra Dimensions was studied. We have studied
the renormalization e ects of the Higgs self coupling in a ve-dimensional model where the
gauge boson elds assumed to propagate in the bulk (full space time) while the matter elds
are localized to the brane (sub space time). We derived the renormalization group equations
for gauge, Yukawa and Higgs quartic couplings at one loop level for our two scenarios bulk and
brane. Then, we used the recent Large Hadron Collider (LHC) bounds on the Higgs mass, we
found that the Higgs self-coupling evolution has improved vacuum stability condition in brane
case, which is in contrast with that of Standard Model and bulk scenario, where the theory
has a much lower ultraviolet cuto (UV).
