Abstract:
This study aims at investigating law terminologies encounteredby Law Students` in ESP Course of Legal Terminologies. The participants were 30 students that represented a sample that was exclusively drawn from 3rd year university students at Alimam Alhadi College at Omdurman localitythat included both male and female students. The data collected through a questionnaire for the English language teachers and a test for the students. Analysis of data and the results have shown thatThe ESP courses contents of law don't meet the students' needs. The results also have shown that ESP courses of law contents do not play a significant role in addressing challenges encountered by learners in the ESP course for legal studies. The study concluded with some recommendations and suggestions for further studies, of which recommended that the university syllabus should provide courses to students to give them more practice in law terminologies. The university syllabus also should give enough training toteachers ESP on how to teach students legal terminologies.
