Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the use of translation in enhancing learning performance of students at the university level. It tries, as much, how can students at the university level improve their performance in other skills through translation. The research is divided into five chapters: chapter one contains the background , statement of the problem, objectives of the study, the hypothesis, significance , aims and the research methodology. Chapter two contains the literature review , the different theories about translation, principles and techniques of translation, and how can these theories and principles be put into application. Contains the research methodology and the tools for data collection and the researcher has used the questionnaire as a tool for data collection because it is the most common used one in this type of research. In processing of data, the researcher used the SPSS and the Pearson's formula to discover relations among the variables of the data collected. Chapter four is designed to discuss and analyze data of the respondents' opinions concerning the study under consideration. Data is illustrated in figures and tables to clarify its significance and value according to the statistical results followed by comments on each figure. In Chapter five, the researcher states findings and recommendations for further studies to pave the way for researchers, scholars and more debates in this area of research in future.
