dc.description.abstract |
Step wedge is used for quality control in radiology devices. The image of
the step wedge is based on experience, visual threshold, assessment method used
and resident status. This project was designed to develop a quality control
program, to calculate the number of steps in the image using a computer, digital
images process in the evaluation of step wedge and matlab. A number of step
wedge images were taken. It was shown to a group of engineers to determine
number of the steps in the image. The image was entered into the matlab program
and then it was converted to gray scale, then we averaged each column and
compared the column values to determine the number of steps. |
