dc.description.abstract |
The aim of this study is to design and develop an autonomous fire
fighting system based on wireless sensor network. The system is
designed in such a way, that it can detect and fight the fire with quick
response. Further, it will sense and communicate information regarding
these situations in real time with the server.
The system is fixed with Z- wave smoke sensors and a driver circuit has
been integrated for communication in all fire situations through Z-wave
technology and data base system. We develop the design based on
raspberry pi chip as the micro-controller , the process of data
transmission is discussed in detail.
The system has been tested and evaluated, results from the testing
system show that wireless fire fighting system achieves the design
requirements. |
