Two hundred subjects were included in this study; ranged between 1-90 years old, of mean age was 27.6 ± 20.9 years. Males were 102 (51%) while females were 98 (49%). Two hundred blood samples were taken from all subjects. Parasitological and Epidemiological data were obtained and recorded. Two hundred blood samples were examined to detect Plasmodium spp in stained thick and thin blood smears. Out of 200 blood samples, 64 (32%) were positive for P.falciparum. Anti-hepatitis-C and anti-hepatitis-B viruses were detected by using immune chromatography test (ICT). Out of 200 blood samples, 5 (2.5%), 16 (8%) were positive for hepatitis C and hepatitis B respectively. When the results were analyzed, the study showed that there is significant relationship between malaria and hepatitis-C virus (p.value= 0.020) and there is no relationship between malaria and hepatitis-B virus (p.value=0.081). en_US
