Researches show passionate of students aged 14 to 16 years towards ICT technologies in learning and education, whereas pedagogues see there is a difference between technology influences on a culture, and modern educational theories and practices. Also researches show that technologists, designers, educators, researchers in computer science and information technology, researchers in learning and education areas, are keen to utilize modern technologies in learning and education.
This work aims to develop a conceptual map to design a school textbook e-book artifact for secondary level students in support of reading behavior, where information and communication technology with pedagogy and educational theories can be effectively and efficiently practiced using design science research approach.
