dc.description.abstract A simple, facile, procedure for the synthesis of pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines, triazolo[1,5-a] pyrimidines and primido[1,2-a]benzimidazoles ring systems incorporating a phenylsulfonylbenzothiazole moiety was developed via the reaction of 1-(benzothiazol-2-yl)-3-N,N-(dimethylamino)-2-(phenylsulphonyl)prop-2-en-1-one with substituted 4-arylazo-3,5-diaminopyrazoles, 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, 2- aminobenzimidazole, 1H-benzimidazol-2-ylacetonitrile and 5-amino-1H-pyrazole derivatives. Antimicrobial and antifungal activities of some new products wereevaluated. en_US
