dc.description.abstract Space weather has many manifestations and the geomagneticlly induced current (GIC) is one of these manifestations, and it could be leaked into high power transmission resulting in power failure and instability. In this project we was reviewed some records of blackout occurred as a consequence of space weather disturbances and some measurements of the geomagnetically induced current (GIC) that have been calculated from data within the same ground low latitude region. as such these Results have showed that it is very important to consider modeling of GIC in this region. en_US
