dc.description.abstract This paper analyzes some frequently occurring problems concerning pronunciation of English learners in Sudanese schools namely the secondary schools. It was noticed that one of the salient factors leading to these problems is the interference of Arabic Language, learners age, attitude, and their insufficient knowledge of phonology and phonetics systems of the English language. There are of course other factors which will be handled in their respective place in the body of the article. The experiment was carried out at a secondary school. Data was collected through a pre and post tests, where as many as 90 students were selected for this study from first, second and third years. A questionnaire was also administered to teachers. en_US
