| dc.description.abstract | In this study were used rest period patients data and fractionations to evaluate the application of nominal standard dose concept in Radiation and isotope center of Khartoum during treatment gaps and highlight of correlation between the dose/fraction and the relative biological effect. It was collected the data of this study from medical physicists and patients files such as, Patient‘s diagnosis, patient separations - Total dose - Dose/dally fraction -Number of fractions - Number of given fractions - Given dose(cGy) - Tumor dose received(cGy) - Given dose received(cGy) - Number of fields - flied size - Date of stopping treatment - Date of restarting treatment - Rest period(Gap time). In RICK, take time 45days, patients of study 100 rest period cases, the result and discussion of this study, which is highlight about the assessment of cancer patient treatment that interrupted their radiotherapy course by certain period in which they were prolongation of fraction increases the biological effect and the increase of the dose/fraction increases the biological effect. | en_US |
