dc.description.abstract This paper analyze a class of partial differential equations of the form using Lie symmetry group method. It was shown that if the function f is a solution of a family of Ricatti equations, then symmetry techniques can be used to find the characteristic functions and fundamental solutions for partial differential equations (PDES). en_US
