| dc.description.abstract | The leaves of Cassia obtusifolia and leaves of Vitisvinifera were extracted with 95% ethanolic at room temperature. Qualitative tests is phytochemical screening for the alcohololic extracts .The extract of cassia obtusifolia were positive for flavonoids , alkaloids, saponins, tannin, glycosids , steroids. and the leaves of Vitis vinifera extract were positive flavonoids , alkaloidsm saponins,tannin,glycosids, but negative for steroids.Fractionation of the alcoholic extract of Cassia obtusifolia over silica gel using butanol:acetic acid :water (4:1:4) gave compound I. Fractionation of the alcoholic extract of Vitis vinifera over silica gel using butanol:acetic acid :water (5:1:4) gave compound II. The structure of compound I and compound II were deduced on the basis of their IR, UV, MS and NMR and thefollowing structures were suggested. | en_US |
