Abstract:
modality choice in diagnosis of acute stroke. In this study the role of Magnetic resonance has been evaluated in diagnosis acute brain stroke and the percentage of happing.
This study do at the ray department the, MR unit at Alamal professorial hospital from December 2015 to April 2016.
It included random samples of 30 patients referred for Brain MRI in examination diagnosis of acute stroke, their age ranged from (55-75) years.
The most affected age group one ranged from 18 male and 12 female age (55-75) years (60% - 40%) respectively.
The most cases of appearance of male than female of smoker for 70% for patients smoker 30% for patient non smoker.
The second cases of stroke patients weight the most weight between (76 – 80) kg.
The most sings and symptoms of disease:
Hemorrhage 30%.
Ischemia 52%.
Hemorrhage and Ischemia 6.7%.
The result was established by account the number of MRI appearance and finding.
