dc.description.abstract This research aims to investigate role of the lexical items in enhancing English for specific purposes reading skills on medicine. The methodology used in this research is descriptive and analytical approach. The tool of collecting data is test instrument for the first year of medicine. The primary data is collected from books, references and website related to the study. The researcher reached into some finding , the most important one is : the syllabuses of medicine included vocabulary relevant and students needs to be focus on such syllabus and much focus is required. The researcher recommends teachers to have their own role in guiding students towards the best way to solve such problems and their evaluation is important. en_US
