dc.description.abstract |
The increasing energy crisis and the worsening global climate caused by the excessive utilization of fossil fuel have boosted tremendous research activities about CO2 capture, storage and utilization. Artificial photocatalytic that uses solar light energy to convert CO2 to form value-added and renewable fuels such as methane or methanol has been consistently drawing increasing attention. It is like killing two birds with one stone since it can not only reduce the greenhouse effects caused by CO2 emission but also produce value added chemicals for alternative energy supplying.This research has discussed energy resources in Sudan and CO2 effects on environment and methods of CO2 capture and storage. An as an application of getting use of carbon dioxide we discuss a way of making a photoreactor that convert CO2 in the presence of certain condition to a fuel with high efficiency. |
