dc.description.abstract Many researches have been done in the field of analyzing the performance characteristics for different aircrafts, but by using the analytical approach. Hence this project is introduced to simulate the performance validation of L-410turbolet by using the drag polar obtained by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD);because of the reliability of this procedure and its high ability to compute and analyze the complex systems. FLUENT package is the program that used to do the computations. The results were realistic and were in consistence with the aerodynamic theories. Also the actual manufacturer engine characteristics data have been employed in simulating the performance validation and in designing the MATLAB software in order to obtain the most proper results and to minimize as possible the error which can results from using only the theoretical formulas of the analytical approach. en_US
