This paper investigates the Sudanese slogan of December revolution in 2019, freedom, peace and justice. The aim of this paper is to explore the political and ideological thought behind the lexical choice of vocabulary that constitute the slogan. The methodology adopted in this paper is qualitative content analysis where the content meaning of vocabulary is defined. Results show that the slogan. Freedom, Peace and Justice, plays a significant role in rallying the Sudanese people behind the political change in their quest for achieving freedom, peace and justice.

This paper investigates the Sudanese mainstream culture as opposed to other prevailing subcultures as depicted in SPINE book (4)  in enhancing cultural diversity. The aim of the study is to analyze both mainstream and subcultures based on reading comprehension texts in terms of selected eight aspects of culture that are meant to represent cultural diversity. A checklist is adopted as a tool for data collection containing eight subdimensions of cultures and were subjected to verification to determine their existence within the English syllabus of SPINE, book (4). The statistical method SPSS has been used for data processing and the study revealed the following important findings: The syllabus of SPINE book (4), reflects the Sudanese mainstream culture as well as that of the other subcultures which enhance the Sudanese  national unity in cultural diversity.

This study aimed to explore the grammatical  obstacles facing Sudanese secondary school Students' in writing composition. The study adopted descriptive method to carry out the study. Questionnaire and test were used as tools for data collection. The statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) was used to analysis the acquired data. The findings of the study revealed students have low abilities in using grammar correctly when writing composition in English, it  also showed the unnecessary shifting of tenses from past to present and vice versa. The researcher highly recommends ELT teachers should exert their efforts to help students to understand grammar also students should be encouraged to practice writing composition             neatly through.

This study aimed to investigate Using ICT in EFL Classroom to Enhance Students' Reading Skill: from Teachers' Perceptions a case study college of education, University Dongola. The study adopted descriptive method. Questionnaire was used as tool for data collection from (30) teachers. The statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) was used to analysis the acquired data. The result of analysis revealed that: ICTs increased learners' reading skill, also the adoption and use of ICTs in education have a positive impact on learning and using ICTs techniques provide students with feedback about their reading mistakes. The researcher highly recommends that: English language teachers should encourage their students to use ICTs in developing reading skill, also modern technical ways should be used for effective teaching of the English language reading skill
