B.Sc.en_US
Drilling operation is very important in oil and gas industry, so we must choose an optimum bit with high performance and low cost. There are many methods used for evaluating bit performance such as: Cost per foot (CPF), Specific Energy (SE) and Bit Dullness method (BD). The optimum bit selection of HAMRA formation is PDC because it is soft to medium consolidated and the best method for evaluating this formation is the bit dullness method because it calculated time required for bit inside a well without dullness which equal 90.46 hours.en_US
