dc.description.abstractGeotextiles are being used recently for many purposes because of their reasonable expenses and their high efficiency. As well geotextiles are easier to install. Soil erosion is one of the most serious problems facing mankind especially those who are living off Shore Rivers. The loss of the fertile soil due to the erosion causes by water along the shores of rivers is is so great. This loss of fertile soil is caused by what is called fall phenomenon. The fall phenomenon is described, analyzed and proofed in this work theoretically and practically. A decisive solution has been set in this work to combat the fall phenomenon by using geotextiles.en_US
