Abstract: | This research attempts to find a formula for estimating the hour price of the internet services offered to the public in Khartoum State. It is found that the pricing depends on the competition and the desire in the profit. A survey of the internet café was conducted and the major factors expected to influence the price were recorded. A repetitive statistical analysis was carried out where some factors were eliminated .and others added and further observations were made. The research resulted in proposing a mathematical model for estimating the price of the internet service. The major parameters affecting the price were found. They include the bandwidth, technical specification (RAM and speed of the processor), number of workstation in the internet café, location of the internet café and environment of the internet café. The price inferred by the proposed model was very near to the actual price and, it statistically resembles the actual price. |
