dc.description.abstract | Flow measurement is vital to many industrial sectors, such as water supply, oil extraction, gas distribution and much of the processes and pharmaceutical industry, which depend on flow meters for quality control and custody transfer. To obtain the required level of accuracy at an appropriate price, it is crucial that the right meter is selected for the application and that it is appropriately used for the measurement of hydrocarbon fluids. The need for energy and fuel increased and continuously to increasing as civilizations develop technically. The need for economical resources of energy as fuel becomes imperative. Hydrocarbon fluids are the most economical source of fuel energy. The primary purposes for consistent high accuracy measurements and better precision are to achieve: and maintain proper accountability, insurance of flow measurement systems integrity and above all satisfaction between customer or client and supplier. Different ways and techniques are used to measure the liquid flow rate, the suitability of each technique is based on the properties of the liquid, the environmental conditions surrounding the area, the location of measuring devices, type of business, ... etc. Custody Transfer is the measurement responsibility for change in transferring and delivering of fluid, providing quantity and information on a change is an ownership and/or responsibility of commodities between two parties possessing a contractual agreement and bound by the terms and conditions of such a contract. | en_US |
