dc.description.abstractObjective: The Objective of this study is to detect the normal AFI in Pakistani women in 28 weeks and 36 weeks of gestation and compare it to previous studies. This study was done by practical scanning through which the data was collected in data sheet. The study was conducted from Feb 2006 to Dec 2006. Method: One hundred patients of 28 weeks and 36 weeks of gestation for AFI who were studied in two different places. 1- Afro-Asian Institute of Medical Sciences Lahore Pakistan. 2- Millat clinic Sanda Lahore Pakistan Result: Total number of patients of 28 weeks was 45 and total number of patient of 36 weeks was 55. Range of Age group of the patients was 20-36 years. Range of AFI with gestational age was as following. ►At 28 weeks AFI range was 12.4 to 18 ►At 36 weeks range was 12.3 to 22.6 It shows AFI at 36 week was more than 28 weeks.en_US
