dc.description.abstract | Fifty patients with renal stone were enrolled in this study at Omdwaenban an Omdurman Pediatric emergency Hospital in Khartoum state. Sudan . in the period between December 2011 – may 2012 to evaluation of renal morphology and echogenecity for patients with renal stone using ultra sound with exclude diabetic and hypertensive patients. All patients evaluated with U/S following international scanning gilded lines and protocols using Philips and fokoda machjing and transducer 3.5 MH the U/S finding record in the data collection sheet and then the date were solved by computer analysis ( spss) and we found that the most common age group range between 20- 40 years old , and the most group affected with renal stone is employees Then worker, student and the last group is house wife . Also found that the male were affected more than female with rasio 2:1 . with most common symptoms was flank pain followed by renal colic , and the least one is fever. The study showed (72%) of the patient with normal renal size 22 % of the patient with normal renal size 22 % were increase the renal size ( 6 %) were decrease the renal size , and (64%) were normal echoginicity ,(24%) were hypoechoic and (12%) were hyperechoic, (56i%i) were calculi while (44%) were caculi with hydronephrosis. | en_US |
