dc.description.abstractThe study including 100 patients referred for ultrasound for assessment for jaundice. The machine used was voluson 730 expert general electric with 3 and 5 MHz convex probes. In this study liver, Gallbladder and CBD were scanned to rule out any pathology relevant to sign & symptoms of jaundice. Result One hundred jaundice patient in different ages with different nationalities was included in the study which was done in king Abdulaziz naval base hospital K.S.A jubal ultrasound clinic in a period of one year using GE ultrasound machine convex probe with 5 and 3 MHZ. was used. Data was collected through that period from the files of patients containing medical radiological report and surgical and gastroenterology follow up. The G power software was used for data analysis. Conclusion During this study it was very clear that ultrasound is a sensitive and reliable method of investigation or imaging in jaundice patients The result compared to international result is not conflicting but add to the already established data in this era.en_US
