New ultrasonic spectrometer was assembled using laser to generate ultrasound from molecules and atoms in addition to USP 2000 spectrometer connected to a computer. Apiezoelectric sensor is also used. The function of piezoelectric is to receipt the ultrasound generated. The spectrometer receipt the diffraction laser beam by sound waves to give its wavelength. This spectrometer was used to determine the chemical bonds of Bougainvillea SPP1, Citrus Sanseis, Canna Indicia ,Ixora Coccinnia, Bougainvillea SPP2, Citrus paradisi, leaves which grow in shadow and grow in regions exposed to the sun directly. Two approaches were used for bond characterization. One is named the pulsed regime which determine the bonds from the ultrasound pulse directly. The other regime is called Bragg regime which determine the bonds due to Bragg diffraction of the laser deflected beam using USP 2000 spectrometer connected to a computer. The results obtained showed that the exposure of the plants to the sun change the strength of the chemical bonds as well as the crystal spacing and sometimes generates new bonds in the sun. The results obtained indicates existence of S-S, C-S,C-H, Stretching in all samples. However Ixora Coccinnia and Bougainvillea SPP2 has extra S=0 bond in the sun, while citrus has additional N- H and, O-H bonds in shadow and sun. The fact that extra bonds can be formed in the sun can be used in herbal drugs to produce new effective ingradient.en_US
