Abstract: | Internet of Things makes all objects interconnected and it has been recognized as the next technical revolution.One such application is in healthcare to monitor the patient health status. This system is developed for the home use by patients in rural areas that do not have healthcare professionals. Real time monitoring of the patient’s health status is displayed in the web application so that the doctors can monitor and access the patient information from anywhere of the world at any time. In this project sensors are used to measure the temperature and heart rate of the patient. The raspberry pi board is used to collect data from the sensors and then it sends wirelessly to a web server using web socket protocol. The sensor dataprocessing and Patient’s record will be stored on the cloud. According to the relative error calculated it can be said that the developed system less expensive and accurate. |
