dc.description.abstractThis descriptive study was conducted in order to assess the amniotic fluids volume in pregnant women in second and third trimester. The study was used the universal protocol in the work of ultrasound for pregnant women through data collection sheet that were collected in the period from December 2018 to December 2019 , it was collect from Al Ban Jaded hospital in Khartoum State . The study aimed to identify normal value of amniotic fluid volume in pregnant women in second and third trimester to correlate gestation age and maternal age and weight with amniotic fluid volume. The result outcome from this study is that the assessment of the amniotic fluid volume is 100%. Study conclusion, this study shows that most Sudanese pregnant ladies have normal amniotic fluid volume on the other hand abnormal amniotic fluid volume is rare ultrasonography finding. Recommendations assessment of amniotic fluid volume is an essential part for antenatal care and follow up by u\s should be done in all pregnant ladies to predict prenatal complication. Early diagnosis and better management of fetal abnormalities incidence of polyhydramnios.en_US
