Abstract: This study was conducted in The State of South Darfur, which includes the localities (Nyala north- Nyala south - Bellil - East mountain - Kas - Qraida - Ad alFassan - Rahid al Bardi - Bram - AlRadum ) the study area is located in the southern part of Darfur region between the longtudes (17-27) and (0-280) degrees east and two latitudes (30:8- 12.9) North degree with three climates: the climate of the summer plains, the poor savna climate, the rich savna climate and its diverse vegetation. The study was conducted in January 2020. The most important objectives of the study are to verify the quality of drinking water, and that is by taking samples from 49 wells from different places of the study area, and physical analyzes of the elements (color, taste, smell, turbidity) were performed, and chemical analysis of them includes the elements (TH – Ca+2 – Mg+2 – HCO3- – CO3-2 – CL-- SO4-2 – F- - pH - NO2- - NO3- - NH4+ – Fe++ - Na+ - K+ - EC-TDS). It was found that the physical analysis of some of the observed wells has recorded very high values for some elements (EC - pH -TDS) which does not meet the specifications (SSMO & WHO), As for chemical analysis, it was found that some of the observed wells had high values for some of the elements, which are (TH – Ca+2 – Mg+2 - NO2- - NO3- - NH4+) not in conformity with the specifications (SSMO & WHO). Also, the results of the study showed that the quality of the groundwater from the side The physical and chemical wells of most wells are very acceptable. As for agricultural use, it was found that the SAR values are identical to agricultural measures. Well No. (18) is not suitable for agricultural use.
